NIGERIA YOUTH AS SWEEPERS IN  ITALY

Two Nigerian immigrants have gotten international attention after volunteering to sweep the streets in Italy. According to reports, it’s hard to find a job if one is in the process of claiming asylum but this group of Nigerians living in a migrant camp in Rome has started a voluntary street sweeping collective.
The sweeping collective was founded by Wisdom and Osas, who came up with the idea because they had no money but did not want to beg on the streets.
In an audio interview with BBC, the Nigerians revealed that they’ve been in Italy for nine months and decided to sweep the streets rather than remaining idle in the migrant camp. They revealed that they are more than 300 Nigerian guys sweeping the streets as people give them money to
appreciate their work.

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of this exceptional ICON LATEEF RAJI   LATEEF RAJI was born in Ondo state. He started his educational journey at Irekari Grammar School, Idoani, between 1974 and 1978. He also attended New Church High School, Owo, Ondo State in 1978 and obtained his Ordinary Level School Certificate in 1980. Thereafter, he proceeded to the University of Lagos to study history. He earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in 1997 and also earned a Masters Degree in History in 2000. A 12-year-old boy in Uttar Pradesh in India, has a mysterious condition that has caused his hands to grow to a massive 30cm long. Tarik was born with big hands but now they are so huge that local villagers believe he is cursed and calls him "devil." He has also been refused admission to schools due to fear that he will scare other children. His father passed away and his family is unable to afford money to have him tested. His condition is undiagnosed, although doctors speculate that it may be Elephant Foot disease.
