GOVERNOR AMINU MASARI LAUNCHES GOAT EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME FOR KATSINA STUDENTS

 Aminu Masari Katsina State governor, has launched goat empowerment programme for secondary school students in the state. Launching the programme at Government Girls Arabic Secondary School, Dutsinma on Saturday, the state commissioner for Education, Halimatu Idris, said the programme was aimed at empowering students to be self-reliant.


Mrs Idris, a professor, said the goat empowerment programme was part of the Masari administration’s efforts toward improving the lives of the people and development of education in the state Daily Nigerian concluded.

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of this exceptional ICON LATEEF RAJI   LATEEF RAJI was born in Ondo state. He started his educational journey at Irekari Grammar School, Idoani, between 1974 and 1978. He also attended New Church High School, Owo, Ondo State in 1978 and obtained his Ordinary Level School Certificate in 1980. Thereafter, he proceeded to the University of Lagos to study history. He earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in 1997 and also earned a Masters Degree in History in 2000. LATEEF RAJI started his career as an Editor with Ahrada West African Publishing Ltd between 1996 and year 2000 and was later elevated to the post of the Editor-in-Chief of the company in which capacity he worked between year  2000 and 2003.
